Mohawk Bend
Branding | Print | Social | Web | Mural
A restaurant staple in Echo Park, Mohawk Bend is the crown jewel of Artisanal Brewers Collective. It's known for its many taps, vegan-friendly fare, and gorgeous space converted from a 20th century vaudeville theater. It embodies the spirit of East LA, and I was proud to give it a fresh new look as the Collective's Creative Manager.
I created all print items for Mohawk's many events, including their monthly Piece of the Pie donation drive and the annual IPA Festival, monitored their social posts, and built and maintained their website. During the 2020 election year, I designed and painted a 25 foot by 10 foot mural on the outside of the building as a means of fostering Echo Park's deep community ties and supporting the democratic process.
Rebranding & Logo

Logo & Colors
We wanted to maintain a strong and inviting logo for patrons who knew and loved Mohawk for its beer and sport culture, but we also wanted the brand to represent the lushness of the neighborhood. Bringing in the plant life surrounding Echo Park Lake and a more modern palette refreshed this favorite while keeping it recognizable.

Event Print Collateral

Mural
During the politically tumultuous summer of 2020, Mohawk Bend wanted to reflect the things that made its neighborhood beautiful: color, community, and cooperation. I was honored to both design and execute the mural and add joy to Sunset Boulevard.

Web
I built the site in Wix, maintained content, and regularly updated online menus.
