Logo Refresh
California Sun's initial logo was designed by a different team member, however the elaborate font and wide layout made application difficult. I maintained as many elements from the previous design but made it more compact and clear across media.
Branding
California Sun wanted to emphasize its irreverence and fun without sacrificing clarity of branding. I combined vintage LA skater photography with a paper cut-out aesthetic to meet both of these goals.
